new baby

It's probably safe to say I was out of sorts when Max threw my bag, containing my gorgeous new camera, onto our kitchen floor, and broke the lens. But today a blessing arrived in the mail from Amazon, and I am back in picture taking business! My new baby is the Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G, and this, dear people, is what she is capable of with a mere quick first 'get to know you' snap...

We are in love :) Oh and its impossible to stay angry at that face. Thank you for giving mommy an excuse to splurge on an even better lens, Max!
